General Information
The Friends of the New Britain Public Library (NBPL) was formed over four decades ago to advocate and fundraise for the library. Among the group’s main activities are its two semi-annual book sales which have become hugely popular, drawing booklovers from across the region.
The Friends also manage the Everyday Book Sale, located near the entrance to the Periodicals Room in the Main Library, which is open during library hours. Smaller fundraisers are also held at various times during the year. All proceeds directly benefit the library.
